✏️ Planit Patterns⬇️ Dated Sections

⬇️ Dated Sections

Often, you may have a collection of items that all share the same date. Instead of repeating the date for each item, you can use a date section to indicate the date for all subsequent entries until the next date section appears or the end of the page is reached. Using date sections can make your entries cleaner and more manageable and can help you avoid redundancy. To use a "Date Section" follow the following pattern:

  1. Date Sections: [Date Section]
    • Indicates the date for all entries beneath it until the next date section or the end of the entry. The default Date Section Formatting is YYYY-MM-DD but you can change it in the settings.
    • Example: 2024-04-10
    • This header indicates the date for all entries until the next date section.

Example:

2024-04-10
β€’ Write project proposal
β—‹ Team meeting
β€’ Prepare presentation

In this example, all tasks and events are understood to occur on April 10, 2024, without needing to repeat the date for each entry.
